This years BLSA's teams are in need of a moot court judges for practice oral arguments.  Any alumni interested in serving as a moot court judge, please contact Kyla Rivera, Frederick Moot Court Competition Chair, kyrivera@law.upenn.edu. 
Penn Law BLSA has three dynamic teams that will be competing in the Mid-Atlantic Frederick Douglas Moot Court Competition. To succeed in the competition the teams must argue effectively orally and in writing. The teams will complete the written portion of the competition in November when they submit their polished briefs.  The regional competition will take place in Pittsburgh, PA.  If they succeed at the regional level in Pittsburgh, they will advance to the national competition in Atlanta, GA.

Penn Law Students Win 2012 Moot Court Regional Competition

Congratulations to Ginene Lewis (3L, Spelman ‘09) and Ayana Boswell (3L, Spelman ‘06), the  Mid-Atlantic BLSA Regional Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition Champions! Ginene and Ayana also won the Best Appellate Brief Award.
